The Superhuman Collective Superhuman Ambassador Terms
Welcome
Welcome to the Superhuman Collective—a community program that empowers our most passionate users to connect, collaborate, and share their expertise.
As a Superhuman Ambassador, you’ll get early access to new products, sneak peeks at our roadmap, opportunities to win prizes, and perks for sharing what you love about our products with your network. In return, we ask you to engage with us honestly, including telling us what isn’t working.
These terms are the ground rules for membership. We’ve tried to keep them short and plain. Where lawyer-speak shows up, it’s because it has to, not because we’re trying to hide something.
In addition to these terms, information you share with us through the Collective is also subject to our Privacy Policy.
Joining the Collective
Acceptance into the Collective is at our discretion and is based on factors like how you engage with our products and community. To be eligible, you need to:
Be at least 18 years old.
Be an active user of Superhuman, Coda, or Grammarly, in good standing under our
Ideally, have at least one public social media account where people can follow your content. (This is encouraged, not required.)
If that’s you, fill out the application form. We’ll let you know by email if you’re in.
Leaving the Collective
Membership isn’t forever. You can leave any time by emailing us at community@superhuman.com. We may also remove members at our discretion, for example, if someone is inactive for a long period, behaves inappropriately or fraudulently, breaks the law, or doesn’t follow these terms.
Sharing Your Voice
We love spotlighting our community. By joining the Collective, you give us permission to display, publish, and share (across any media, anywhere in the world) your name, your social posts about us, your photo, voice, likeness, and short bio for marketing and promotional purposes, without payment. If we repost your content, we’ll credit you whenever we can.
If you’d rather we not feature something specific, just tell us at community@superhuman.com, and we’ll respect that.
Community Guidelines
We trust you to use good judgment. When posting content related to our products, please don’t share anything that:
infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property;
is defamatory or violates someone’s privacy or right of publicity;
is false, misleading, or pretends to be something it isn’t;
depicts a minor without their guardian’s consent or could harm a minor in any way;
promotes discrimination, harassment, violence, or illegal or dangerous activity;
is sexually explicit, obscene, or otherwise unsuitable for a general audience; or
is otherwise illegal.
When you post about our products in a way that could read as an endorsement, please make your relationship with us clear (e.g., #SuperhumanCollective or a similar tag). It’s good practice and it’s what the FTC asks of creators.
You’re responsible for your own conduct and anything posted under your account. The Collective is meant to be fun and personal, so please don’t use it as a vehicle to promote your business or otherwise make money off it. Specifically, please don’t:
use any social platform (e.g. TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or LinkedIn) in a way that violates that platform’s rules or applicable law;
impersonate Superhuman, our employees, or anyone else, or misrepresent your role with us;
collect information from current or potential customers, help them complete a purchase or discuss specific product terms; or
pay (or accept payment from) current or potential customers in connection with the Collective.
We may update these guidelines from time to time and will email you about any meaningful changes. We’re not responsible for content you post.
Feedback & Trust Go Together
We invite Superhuman Ambassadors into focus groups, beta tests, and roadmap conversations because we want to hear what you really think, including what’s broken, confusing, or worse than the alternative. Speak freely. Critical feedback won’t be held against you, and it won’t affect your standing in the Collective.
Two small asks in return:
If we share something that’s not yet public (an unreleased feature, a roadmap, or an internal plan), please keep it confidential until we announce it.
When you give us a suggestion or idea, you are giving us permission to use it to improve our products without owing you anything for it. We may not always act on your feedback, but we’re always grateful for it.
Not an Employment Relationship
Joining the Collective is voluntary. Being a Superhuman Ambassador doesn’t make you our employee, contractor, or agent, and you’re not entitled to wages, benefits, or other employee compensation.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither Superhuman nor its affiliates, directors, employees, agents, partners, or suppliers will be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages (including lost profits, revenue, business, goodwill, or reputation) arising out of or related to your participation in the Collective or any content you or others post in connection with it. This limit applies whether the claim is based on contract, warranty, tort, or any other legal theory, and whether or not the damages were foreseeable.
Controlling Law
These terms are governed by California law, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
