By default, every send requires your confirmation. You can adjust these permissions in Claude, or run Superhuman Mail MCP in read-only mode if you want Claude to search and draft without sending anything. Yes. Superhuman is SOC 2 (Type 2) certified, GDPR compliant, and never uses your data to train AI models. You choose which accounts Claude can reach and what it’s permitted to do, and you can disconnect at any time.
When you ask Claude a question about your inbox, the relevant email content is shared with Claude to respond to your request. That information is also subject to Anthropic’s privacy and data-handling policies. Learn more on our Trust page.

Every draft Claude creates through Superhuman Mail MCP appears in your Superhuman Mail drafts, so you can review, edit, and send either from Claude or from Superhuman Mail.
If a draft doesn’t appear, it was probably created by a different connector. Expand Claude’s thinking to check which tool it used.
Claude needs to know which source to use. If you also have a native Gmail or Outlook connector installed, Claude might try to access that instead.
If that happens, add “use Superhuman Mail” to your prompt. To confirm which source Claude used, expand its thinking and check whether it selected the Superhuman Mail connector.
