Get more without disrupting what works
In Docs, your workflows and documents will feel instantly familiar. Plus, you'll get new capabilities, like built-in AI, reliable databases, and hundreds of new integrations.
Find what you're looking for
Unlike Quip, Docs uses a hub model that adds structure to your content, so you can nest pages, create subpages, and connect docs to multiple homes, making it easy to find what you need.

Collaborate in new ways
In Docs, you can comment across content just like you do in Quip, and with collaborative building blocks like forms, voting, and custom views, you can easily create the things your team needs to work better together.

Bring AI to where you work
Docs AI works directly inside your space to provide context-aware assistance. And it does more than answer questions. It can build the tables, views, and workflows you need with simple prompts.

Do more with your data
Go beyond the basic data capabilities in Quip with tables that scale up to a million rows, custom views like calendars and timelines, and AI that works alongside you.

Stay connected to Salesforce and more
Docs connects with 800+ tools, so you can continue working seamlessly across Salesforce, Slack, Jira, and more.

Frequently asked questions
There are two complementary migration paths. Self-serve migration lets individual users migrate their own personal documents, folders, and subfolders at their own pace. Enterprise migration is designed for enterprise-scale migrations and handles shared team content in large batches. Most organizations use both: enterprise migration for shared team content and self-serve for personal content before, during, or after the bulk process.
You have full flexibility. Enterprise migration supports three rollout strategies:
Phased migration: migrate teams or departments in waves, learning and refining between each phase.
Hybrid migration: start with a small pilot group to validate workflows, then scale to the rest of the organization.
All-at-once migration: migrate everyone simultaneously for a clean cutover, where Docs immediately becomes the single source of truth.
Self-serve migration can occur at any point in the enterprise process, giving individual users additional flexibility.
Our enterprise migration is built specifically for high-volume teams and organizations. It can handle millions of Quip threads imported in batches, with full administrator controls to pause, cancel, or retry at any point.
Yes. Document permissions are preserved during migration. For content migrated via enterprise migration, users will see a direct link to the migrated content in Docs from within Quip, so existing references don’t break.
Yes. Superhuman’s migrations team has developed a migration toolkit—an end-to-end framework covering the full migration lifecycle, from discovery and planning through import and post-migration validation.
For enterprise customers, this includes:
A discovery phase to assess your current Quip workspace, content volume, and risk profile
A planning phase to map your Quip folder structure into Docs and define your rollout strategy (Phased, Hybrid, or All-at-Once)
Import tooling for both self-serve and enterprise migration, with admin controls for batch management, progress monitoring, and audit logging
Post-migration tasks surfaced directly inside migrated docs to flag content that needs review or manual follow-up
The level of hands-on support depends on the scale and complexity of your migration. Large enterprise migrations typically involve a dedicated customer success manager and, where needed, direct involvement from the migrations team.
